annoying workplace ringtones
There are two types of ring-tone. There are mobile ring-tones and then there are these annoying ring-tones. I have come across zombies who love to annoy people around them. I call them zombies, because they are insensitive just like the living-dead. They don’t tend to care about the world around them. Here are a few of these annoying ringtones, not in any specific order. They are all equally annoying.
- I love you baby.. umma umma umma …..
The high frequency modulated child voice irritates as much as the ‘umma’ which is repeated until the phone is picked up.
- Breaking glass
It’s a good special effects sound, but why must it be a ring-tone? Totally unpleasant on the ears and it shatters thought process in a workplace.
- Hysterically laughing baby
A baby’s laugh is the most pleasant sound on earth, made by human. But everything’s got a limit. Looping a hysterically modulated laughter is more devilish than heavenly.
- Drained Nokia
The basic Nokia ring tone is an ideal ringtone for a mobile. There has been many modified versions, but the dying Nokia irritates like no other.
Imagine being a very serious discussion and then there is a sound from nowhere ‘Boingggg’. It makes everyone laugh, but if it happens repeatedly, its quite annoying.
- Machaaaaan neenga yenga irukeengaaaaaaaaaaa
I really can’t figure out the origin of this ringtone. But its popular. The anachronic shrill screaming of a village girl in a quite office ambience is a total put-off.
- Vadivelu .. hello dubaiyaa...
We all love to laugh at Vadivel jokes, but not everytime we get a call in the mobile we would like to listen to Vadivelu shouting at the top of his voice which can be heard in Dubai without telephony.
- Koundamani’s adrasakkai
Goundamani, as he is, a very noisy person and any of his film monologues used as ringtone is irritating. But there is no match for this adrasakkai ring-tone.
- Crazy Frog
That’s one retarded frog yapping at the top of its voice and the retards love it.
- Traditional Telephone ring
If you really like a traditional phone ringing, throw that mobile and get yourself a nice wired land-line.
Tones like these are not for professional environment. May be its an attention grabber and it may make heads turn. But it also make a lots of people frown at you. A ring tone is to get your attention when the mobile rings and it’s not meant to irritate people around you.
